This drive-in is still going strong today after it was built in 1956. It has two screens that show two new movies. The drive-in’s hours of operation are from April through December. It has concessions like every other movie theater, and it is dog friendly!

This spot is perfect to cool off on a hot summer day. It is located near a mall in Winchester, Virginia, and it is open every day with different hours. This isn’t only a daytime attraction, there are lights at night that light up the water as well!

Rocking S Ranch

Location: 564 Glaize Orchard Road, Winchester, VA 22603

At Rocking S Ranch, they offer a tour of scenic trail rides by horse. They are open from 10am-6pm every day. One of their popular trails are in northern Shenandoah Valley. This ranch accepts cash only, and it is $40 for an hour ride or $60 for a 1.5 hour ride. Be sure to bring a camera to capture the beauty of Shenandoah Valley!

Wilson’s Wild Animal Park

Location: 985 W. Parkins Mill Road, Winchester, VA 22602

There are more than 40 species on 25-acres stretching through a mile long trail at Wilson’s Wild Animal Park. Wilson’s Wild Animal Park is open daily weather permitting. Ages 3 and up are $8, and ages 2 and younger are free.
